Before adding coaching, Cody built a distinguished career as a lobbyist, attorney, and operational strategist. With a background in international business and a law degree, Cody quickly became a leading expert in campaign finance, regulatory reform, and political strategy. He has served as General Counsel and trade association lobbyist, led high-stakes legislative initiatives, and advised both startups and Fortune 500 companies.

Cody and his wife have also launched several successful businesses, including a law firm where he maintained a 100% trial success rate. In 2024, he expanded his government relations work by bringing the regional powerhouse Capitol Resources to North Carolina.
